Origin: Derived from milk using a process that removes fat and lactose.
Also Known As:
Whey Isolate
Overview: Whey protein isolate is a dietary supplement and food ingredient created by separating components from whey. It contains a higher percentage of pure protein than whey concentrates and whey hydrolysates. It can be pure enough to be virtually lactose free, carbohydrate free, fat free, and cholesterol free.
It is highly bioavailable, is very quickly absorbed into the body, and has a high concentration of branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) which helps fuel working muscles and stimulate protein synthesis.
Common Dosage: 25 to 30 grams per serving
