Overview: Life’s GLA Powder is a powdered form of gamma-linolenic acid. It is a fatty acid found primarily in vegetable oils. When acting on GLA, Arachidonate 5-lipoxygenase produces no leukotrienes and the conversion by the enzyme of arachidonic acid to leukotrienes is inhibited.
The body converts gamma linolenic acid to substances that reduce inflammation and cell growth.
