Overview: Inositol Hexa. is a no-flush niacin supplement. It reduces or prevents flushing by being broken down into the metabolites niacin(nicotinic acid) and inositol at a slow rate. This makes it useful for treating blood circulation problems, sun changes caused by pooling of blood in the legs, narrowing of blood vessels, and blood flow problems in the brain.
It breaks down into niacin in the body which can then widen blood vessels, lower blood levels of fats such as cholesterol, and break up a protein needed for the clotting of blood.
Common Dosage: 1500 to 4000 mg daily divided into 2 to 4 doses
