Overview: Ethanol Paeonol is a phenolic compound derived from the root bark of tree peonies and dissolved in ethanol to improve solubility in aqueous solutions.
It shows antimutagenic activities.It also has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects in carrageenan-evoked thermal hyperalgesia. Paeonol inhibits anaphylactic reaction by regulating histamine and TNF-α.
Common Dosage: The clinical dosage for ethanol paeonol is 120 to 240 mg per day
