Overview: Senna Leaf Extract is used for a variety of things but is most well-known to help treat constipation and also to clear the bowel before medical tests such as colonoscopy. It contains the active ingredients anthraquinone derivatives and senna glycosides or sennosides. Senna Leaf Extract also works as a non-prescription laxative and helps with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), hemorrhoids, and in some cases weight loss.
