Origin: Spray-drying the juice of pineapple
Overview: Pineapple fruit powder is a rich source of the enzyme bromelain which hydrolyzes proteins and helps digest dead cells on the surface of the skin.
It is used as a skin conditioning and lytic agent as well as an exfoliant and to soothe inflamed and sore skin.
Common Dosage: 80 to 320 mg per day taken to to 3 times daily for up to 10 consecutive days.
