Overview: L-Tyrptophan is a natural amino acid that assists with manufacturing serotonin. It helps normalize levels of serotonin and other neurotransmitters which aid in behavioral symptoms of age including irritability, mood disorders, anxiety, and stress.

Tryptophan also helps improve the quality of sleep. Studies dating back to the late 1970’s have demonstrated that taking between 1 and 15 grams of Tryptophan at or around bedtime can help you fall asleep.

Common Dosage: 5 mg/kg body weight/day of Tryptophan for adults 19 years and over
