Overview: Indole-3-Carbinol is a substance found in green vegetables such as broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, collards, cauliflower, kale, and turnips. It is mostly used to help balance hormone levels and detoxify the intestines and liver to help support the immune system. Indole-3-Carbinol is also being shown as a possible cancer preventative agent and is now sponsoring clinical research for breast cancer prevention.
Common Dosage: The recommended dosage of Indole-3-Carbinol is 200mg-400mg daily. However 200mg appears to be as effective as the higher dose.
