Overview: Cat’s claw is an herbal supplement derived from a woody wine native to central and south america. The bark and root of the plant is used as in ingredient i supplements. Traditionally, it has been used as a means to lessen inflammation, and fighting infections. It contains phytochemicals including oxindole and indole alkaloids, glycosides, organic acids, proanthocyanidins, sterols, and triterpenes.
Common Dosage: 20 to 350 mg of dried stem bark or 300 to 500 mg for capsules taken in 3 separate doses throughout the day
