Overview: Bauhinia extract is a compound derived from the leaves and/or bark of Bauhinia, a flowering tree native to India, Pakistan, Southern China, and Southeast Asia. It is known for its antibacterial, antidiabetic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anti-diarrheal, anti cancerous, nephroprotective and thyroid hormone regulating activity. It is rich in flavonoids including quercetin, rutin, apigenin and apigenin 7-O-glucoside.
Common Dosage: Currently there is no standard recommended dose for Bauhinia extract.
